Like Father, Like Son.

As all of you know this past summer Shiner & Shiloh shared in the joy of becoming parents. I know, I talk as if they are human!! It was July 14th and we welcomed 10 little puppies, 5 male & 5 female. A couple went to family and Shiner and Shiloh have been able to play with only one of those puppies so far and today Shiner had some quality time with his original #5/Killer who is now Maverick (just to refresh y'alls memory).

I was able to snap a few pictures of them today, which was quite a task! Maverick, as you know from the birthday is only 5 1/2 months old! So needless to say he is like his (biological) father in EVERY way when he was a puppy. Under all that "puppy-ness" you know he is going to be a very smart dog though. Shiner went through that exact same phase, he seemed like the most A.D.D. puppy but, at the same time learning new tricks and commands.

Once they saw the treats today they calmed down enough to sit and do a few tricks. Which was my cue to get pictures while I could. It was kind of fun watching Shiner get a taste of his own medicine with Maverick hanging on him all day! Now he may know what a little pestering puppy he was three years ago!!
