Across the Universe.

So today was a lazy, rainy Saturday which meant I felt the need to rent a movie. I rented Across the Universe, It's one of those that was released but, I'm not sure many people have heard of it. In case you haven't... it's a musical and no don't think of The King and I or something. There really is nothing I can compare it to, it's something totally different than anything out there. Not only is it a musical but, every song in the movie is a Beatles song. The whole movie's story was written around these songs and it's set during the time when Vietnam started and there were all the anti-war protesters (hippies), which makes for some VERY crazy, psychedelic scenes set to music! That's all I can say about the movie really, it's was kinda neat because it was so different. If you're a fan of Beatles music to begin with then there is a chance you will enjoy it. Everyone who sings in the movie does a really good job and in my opinion, definitely does the Beatles and their songs justice. This made for an interesting movie but, I think the soundtrack would be really awesome!!
