24 weeks appointment

Today I had my 24 weeks check up and everything went great! It also happened to be the quickest appointment I have ever had at Fort Polk too. I had to check in early (11:20) and I was on my way out of there at 11:50.

Anyways, the nurse took my vitals (by the way, she said my blood pressure was great) and then I went to wait for the doc. I just to have to add for my non-military family and friends.... most of the doctors we see are active duty soldiers. Which means they wear ACU's just like the rest of them! It will never be not weird to see my doctor dressed up just like my husband, especially when he has Captain bars just like Micah too!! ;)

Ok, so onto the appointment... he measured my belly and I'm measuring just a hair over 24 weeks but nothing to worry about. Then he rubbed the doppler over my belly and found Landon's heartbeat, today it was in the 130's. Everything went perfect and now I start going in every 4 weeks! Which means maybe Micah will be home in time before my next appointment, yippee!! If not, I just scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound today so we can go together.
