Did you know it's Earth Day?!

I'm not gonna go all Al Gore or Leo DiCaprio on y'all but, I was going to inform those of you that didn't know that today is indeed Earth Day. We love you Earth! I especially don't want to sound preachy because I don't think I do much as far as being "green". I use my Green Works cleaner stuff, have those curly light bulbs and I buy organic produce (when my Wal-Mart has it). Other than that I have to admit that's all I do to try and be green. I don't really have any other fuel choices for our vehicles and living in such a small town you realize anything that needs to be done will solely be on your part. Because the local businesses aren't really hip to the newest trends, although "going green" isn't a trend but, a lifestyle that we should all try and ease into.

Maybe my next green goal should be acquiring some canvas tote bags for groceries. Although I don't immediately throw out plastic bags, I use them for stuff around the house. They do eventually go into the trash and are definitely no bueno for the environment after that! So, what's your green goal going to be??
