Some good news and some decent news....

As you all know I started the garage sale today and at first I didn't think it was going to go down.... I woke up at 5:30 to thunder and lightening and thought my day {for a sale} would be ruined but, I figured I would just play it by ear. Good thing I did because by about 7:30 the sun started to peek out and I decided to start setting things up. Boy, and what fun it is setting up and seeing all the "townies" come out in a day! Might I just add that I personally saw my share of braless and toothless people for one day.

I ended up closing pretty early too, 2:30 to be exact. The heat was just starting to be too much at that point and I still needed to allow time to "close shop", so I ended up calling it a day. Landon was swimming and swirling around like he was an Olympic swim star due to all the water I was downing to keep hydrated. He was quite active today to say the least ;)

Ok, so onto the "news"... The good news is that I won my ebay bid! woo-hoo! Between customers I had to run in the house and check the bidding status and I got the winning bid in during the last 19 seconds. Then my other decent news is that I made a whopping $140 today. It's not A LOT but, considering the time I was "open" it's not too shabby!! More than I started out with for sure. So I'll give it a go again tomorrow and possibly add to my loot!
