Paint & Party.... and we're pooped!

What an eventful day! The ladies (& babies) and I went to lunch and cute little pottery shop in Leesville called Paint & Party. It's one of those places where you pick out your ceramic item, paint colors then paint! It takes about a week to get your items back, they do a varnish and throw it in the kiln to cook it and get all shiny!!

The kiddies had a hand in the painting too (as you can see in the pictures below) they got to add their little "paw prints" to some items and considering I don't physically have Landon here yet, I decided to just paint something for him or more like for his nursery! The picture was obviously taken halfway through my paint process but, in about a week when I get it back I'll show y'all how it turns out. They look so much better shiny and bright!

All in all it was a very fun and different activity for a Friday afternoon! Poor little babies got so tired of the painting session eventually, all they wanted was a cozy place to sleep! Even Landon started telling me he was over it. We were sitting on these uncomfortable wood benches and I was basically hunched over painting for a couple hours so..... needless to say he was getting a little restless in there!! So after all the fun of painting.. we were pooped!
