Good day :)

Hello all! Well, this morning I had my 36 weeks appointment and everything was great! It was my first official appointment at Benning and also OB. For my 'military readers' most of you know how you are either family practice or OB. I'm normally fp but, I was placed in OB here only because I was so far along when we got here.

Today they did the GBS test and I asked the nurse if they were going to do a regular exam too. So she mentioned it to the doctor when he came in and he did end up doing it. Apparently it's not routine for them to do an exam at 36 weeks here??? Whatever the case he did a quickie one and discovered that I am 2cm dilated but, baby has not "dropped" yet. Landon's heartbeat today was 135 and sounded good.

When I was done with my appt I went to preadmissions so thats all taken care of and even had time to make it to the morning tour of Labor & Delivery. So for the next 3 weeks my appointments are already scheduled and they even made one for August 14th..... just in case he's not here yet! ;) He better be though!!! LOL

I just have to add, on the way home I got Chick-fil-a for lunch which helped make it a wonderful day :) C'mon most of y'all know where I'm coming from... the fact that we have options (food and shopping) now is amazing and I'm also just easy to please! To my DeRidder peeps...... I'm not bragging either. Y'all know what a shock it is to be back in civilization!! Cause I know you two are in big cities right at this very moment!! LOL :):)
