Trip to the vet.

Today we took Beaux to his first Alabama vet visit. Everything is fine with him, all the dogs aren't due for their annual shots for a while but, since Beaux has to eat special food (because of a past bladder infection, which is why he eats special kidney food) he had to see the vet today. So it was a special little afternoon just for Beaux!

Everybody at the clinic went on about him, he was very well-behaved today and the cute part about it all was when we were at the window paying they took a picture of him and cropped and put it on the computer. So every time we check out his little picture prints out on the corner of the receipt! Or whatever dog is being seen that day ;) Then, they asked if Beaux would like a bandana and put one on him! Too cute!!

Another added bonus for him.... we stopped by Bruster's for a cold treat on the way home and they asked if our dog would like a doggie sundae!!! So of course we got one for him, since there were no bulldogs in sight to swipe his scoop!

Licking update: By the way, he did lick some when we were at the vet but, compared to what it used to be... it was literally nothing. He has truly turned over a new leaf :)
