Hello everyone! I just wanted to quickly share what is going and about our eventful night last night. The past couple days I had been having some back pain and an up and down fever, this morning it was as high as 104! So in the middle of the night I woke up burning up but, cold at the same time (that's when my temp was so high). I told Micah the temp and he said either take a cold bath or we are going to the ER. Let me tell you, there was NO way I was getting in a cold bath at that point!! Brrr!! So we packed up some things for Landon and loaded him in the carseat. The time was about 1:00am and we were on our way.... We got to the hospital at about 1:30 (yes we kinda live a ways out) they checked me in, asked ?'s, yadda, yadda, yadda. Turns out its kind of a bladder infection and/or kidney infection. This is just like the one I had 2 weeks post partum, because I have no painful urination and all the things that go with a bladder infection. But for some reason I guess it's not solely a kidney infection. Who knows, don't ask me!!!
The ER was not busy at all but, the thing that took the longest was the lab and the Pharmacy. Which means we headed home at 3:30. And by the way, Landon could not have been a more perfect baby!! He literally slept the entire time and woke up as soon as we brought him into the house. Normally during the night he wakes up at 1 or 2 then again at 5 or 6. So we had had him out during the time he typically wakes up but, I guess going from the crib to the carseat he felt extra cozy!! Apparently it's pretty common to get this after a c-section when you have a catheter & no antibiotics during the process. So I'm taking my antibiotics now and hoping I don't have another bladder/kidney infection for a long time!!

I just wanted to say that I had the exact same symptoms when they took me to get my appendix out a few weeks ago. Excrutiating pain all the way tbo my back, tummy aches, fever. They thought I had a kidney/bladder infection too, until they started poking at my belly and realized the pain was originating from my pelvis. Hope you feel better. I definitely remember the pain, except I got morphine ;-)
