So I am finally hooked up to the internet and using the "old" laptop. I say old because it's the one Micah had at West Point! He has since, of course upgraded. And I say finally hooked up to the internet because the phone/internet company was about to have a serious problem with me if it wasn't on by today, considering it was supposed to be Monday, I called to speak to someone about it (Mon night) and she said Whatever and hung up, long story blah, blah, blah. I am very thankful though that we at least had this to get me by until Micah gets here with the new laptop!! Which by the way he graduated the Career Course today and will be in this evening! Yay!
So let me recap..... dead CPU, newly connected internet/home phone, freshly graduated husband from MCCC, a nice breakfast visit with Adam, Lindsay and Bana and last but, absolutely NOT least..... Landon! Y'all would seriously not believe how much he has changed since we have moved. With the rolling over and just reaching out for things, blowing bubbles and making that funny sound with his tongue! Also another one, he is the master with working his bottom lip! Adam, Lindsay and Bana can attest to that one! He would look so sad and stick out that pouty lip, he was getting everyone to "awwww"!! I know this isn't his blog but, I will post on there ASAP. I just got lucky that our DSL was pretty much activated as soon as I put him down for his afternoon nap! So I am taking advantage of the time that I have!
For those of you that may have been wondering.... my pictures. I, of course have/had a ridiculous amount of pictures on our computer and luckily they were all backed on an external hard drive before the crash. Thank you baby Jesus in heaven for that!!! I had suggested that we buy one when we were in Alabama, you know for just in case. Every once in a while I would just copy them to the hard drive and before we packed up the computer I believe I had done the last week or so too. So, if I did lose any pictures they would have been from the end of November or so! We will probably take the CPU in to get fixed (maybe) but, it's not a priority right now. We can wait till next year I guess.
Don't cha just love moving? I have no idea why it is that moving can create so many problems. Things break, you have issues getting things hooked up, the list goes on...... At least this move will keep us here longer than six months!! I think I have filled y'all in about all the goings on lately. Blog to y'all soon now and not later!
