Oscar Talk.

The Oscar's were last night and I of course did not watch them live (thank you dvr). I skimmed through the whole show this morning and once I got close to the end I realized I did not extend the recording and it of course went over. I had to check online to see who won Leading Actress/Actor and Best Picture. Now if you don't want to know the winners then DON'T continue reading.....

I assumed Slumdog Millionaire would win best picture and Kate Winslet would get best actress. As far as best actor I was really thinking Mickey Rourke was going to win but, that didn't happen. Sean Penn won, ugh..... I won't even start! If you want to see a list of all the winners here it is.

Now for the fashion part... Cream really seemed to be the color of the night. I love that spray tans are not a necessity on the red carpet anymore. But when you are so fair skin, cream may not be the best color choice. I only say that because I myself am fair skin and I don't think I would go with that color choice. Honestly there wasn't really one dress that stuck out for me but here some favorites and not so favorites.

Favorites

Amy Adams; I'm not entirely crazy about the dress especially the black piping but, I really liked her necklace. Very different and colorful.

Angelina Jolie; She obviously went with her staple- black. Again, the dress is a-ight but, I loved her green jewelry!

Natalie Portman; I thought this was such a pretyy shade of pinkish/purple and I like the little glitter hints of sparkle too!

Anne Hathaway; Here is one of those cream dresses I was talking about but with a little twist. Click the picture to enlarage it and you can see all the detailing, so intricate.

Some not so favorites

Heidi Klum; She wore a red oragami style dress and every piece of jewelry that she owns!

Miley Cyrus; I think I put here here because I am SO tired of seeing her. Because her dress really isn't all that bad.

Evan Rachel Wood; I really like her, the dress is pretty although it almost washes her out but, that hair...... it makes me want to be a surfer and ride that wave!

Now for my favorite accessory of the night! Surprisingly it was worn by Mickey Rourke. And no it was not his silver tooth, it was his necklace! Poor guy, I know he is a little rough but he is making a comeback and I think that has saved him. In addition, his little doggie Loqui saved him from having a melt down too ( which he has said that in recent interviews). That sad part is, is that Loqui passed away earlier this week. That's why it would have been perfect and bittersweet for him to win last night. Boo, Sean Penn! Upsize the picture to see his necklace.
