So onto the dancing.....
David & Kym are up first doing the Lindy Hop. He was pretty good but, I wasn't watching 100% either. They score a 27.
Lil Kim & Derek- They are the first ones to do the Tango and they sold me! I loved the dance and their performance was pretty good too! Lil Kim got a bit emotional afterwards too, the audience gave them a standing O. They scored a 27 and got the first 10 of the season.
Chuck & Julianne (Lindy Hop) He did a good job and is getting better but, he's just not showing enough personality. They scored a 22.
Lawrence & Edyta (Argentine Tango) Well, he is definitely getting better I can say that but, there is just something missing. Like Carrie Ann said he had the power but, was lacking the chemistry. They scored a 19.
Ty & Chelsie (Lindy Hop) Y'all, Ty is really starting to grow on me. He is just so nice and likable! For the fourth week of competition he has really grown ALOT too! They did a great job, scored a 25.
Steve (the WOZ) & Karina (Argentine Tango) Do we really need a recap of him? Of course he was not good at all but, this guy probably has THE best attitude. Not good and the scores showed it, 12. Yowza!
Melissa & Tony (Lindy Hop) This was my favorite Lindy Hop of the night. Melissa is really good and has fun with it. They did some pretty serious lifts too. They scored a 29!
Holly & Dmitry (Argentine Tango) Ouch, this was not good. They used a stool during the first part of the dance and she slipped off of it once and that mess her up for the rest of the dance. I do have to say they had a really cool lift towards the end but, that was not going to help their score too much, 16.
Steve-o & Lacey (Lindy Hop) Wow, poor Steve-o. He's still giving it his all but, it's pretty off. He can't seem to keep up with the music. They score a 15.
Gilles & Cheryl (Argentine Tango) Awesome! I said this dance is my favorite and this confirmed that statement 1000%! They had it all- passion, power, chemistry the list goes on..... They were the first couple to get a perfect score, 30!
Last but, not least is Shawn & Mark (Lindy Hop) They definitely had a leg up as far as the lifts go for this one. She tumbled from the very beginning! The problem, there was not enough dancing. It was a little too chock-full of tricks :( They scored a 25 for the night.
Tonight are the results and they are doing a double elimination! They are supposed to announce who is in the bottom three this time. Which I guess means they will still do the dance off?! Personally I think either Holly, Steve-o or the Woz could be going home. We shall see.......
