With a little help from my friends....

Ok, so here's the deal- Some of you may or may not have heard that we are on our way back to good old LA. Which could lead to the question, why would you want to go back there? Well, anyone that knows us knows that it is very close to our family and we still have the house there too.

So to give you the quick rundown, we still own the house but, we are currently renting it out. Obviously going back there means we want to live in our own house (makes sense right?). Well, I know it's a huge favor to ask our tenants to move but, we are also trying to be very generous with them too. We told the realty company that we want them to receive their full deposit and we'll cover an in-town moving truck too. By the way, we let them do a 2 year lease too because we NEVER thought we would return. Again, I know this is going to be a huge inconvenience for them to have to move but, I feel like we are being very generous. They initially came back saying no but, the realty owner explained our situation (dogs, kitty and baby under 1 year) and asked them to go back and rethink it. They have no pets or kids so it's "easier" to pick up and move in somewhere (since strict pet policies narrow our options). We also offered another very generous offer. We don't need to discuss specifics but, let's just call it a monetary bribe! So still.... we wait for an answer.

Another key part to all of this is that the tenant "out-ranks" Micah, which means more pay and more BAH. If you don't know this particular location just know that it's slim pickens for rent homes. We got the local rental home listing and there are about 6 from this one company. Two of those are in our town (where our house is) then there are two that look nice but, would be way out of our price range. Which would mean these folks could probably manage it b/c of the higher pay and such.

So pardon me for such the personal post today but, I CANNOT keep my mind on anything besides this ordeal. I figured if I can't stop thinking about it I would share it with y'all. Whatever you do- pray, wish on pennies, cross your fingers just basically do all of the above! I'll let you know when we do get an answer but, for now try and keep us in your thoughts that we return to our HOME!
