Fiddlesticks!: Kelly Clarkson is the eternal idol.

Alright who watched Idol last night? I did of course and if you missed it then check out the recap on MSHBB, those ladies always deliver the laughs! So, I just wanted to share my opinion on a couple things.... In a tiny nutshell, Lil sang Surrender by Celine Dion (as did Kelly Clarkson) Danny Gokey sang a Rascal Flatulence song, What Hurts the Most (which Kelly sang with the Rascal Fatts).

If you don't know my feelings or you aren't Gina (who knows first hand), it's that I really dislike Rascal Flatts. I know some people are really gaga for them but..... ugh! His voice is just so whiny, actually I won't even get started on my feeling towards them. Let's just say they are not my fave :)

Ok so back to AI, I thought Lil's version of Surrender was kind of painful. Then I remembered Kelly sang this song during her season (and I believe she had a cold or something). I'm sorry but, even a sick Kelly trumps Lil! Here's the video....

Then the song Danny sang (What Hurts the Most) is another one that Kelly sang but, not on AI. She actually sang it with Rascal McFatty at an award show and I thought she should re-release it on her own. When they sing together this dude totally ruins it! Kelly's part is great though.
