In a quick nutshell, Melissa and Tony came in 3rd (bummer), then it came down to Shawn and Mark and Gilles and Cheryl. Much to my surprise and probably MANY others, Shawn and Mark won!!! I totally was not expecting that. Even though their freestyle was better last night I thought Gilles was really the best overall.
Anywho, the Idol finale. oh-my-gosh. Adam is my {the real} winner no matter what. His first song 'Mad World' was freakin' flawless, his voice was like buttuh. Kris also had a good round with his first song too. Can we talk about that song written by Kara?! Yeesh, it may not be bad but, both guys had a hard time singing it I feel. It was kinda pitchy dog!
I'm really trying hard to get my votes in for Adam but it's SO busy, still (a couple hours after the fact). Focus, 1-866-IDOLS-01, 03, 05!

The Kara song is TERRIBLE. No radio station will play that regardless of who wins because it sucks! They totally need to do away with having a coronation song and just let the winner sing something they want.
Oh I wouldn't deter you from eating at cecil's. I'm allergic to shellfish and highly allergic to crawfish. Most cajun food is lost on me. I hear the seafood is great if that's what you're wanting to eat. And a burger is a burger to me. I don't have very distinguishing tastes for hamburgers. My point is that it's not terrible food, and if you guys haven't tried it yet we could certainly go.
I hope you're bringing landon too! Can't wait to meet the little guy.
