One persons trash is another man's treasure, right?

A couple of days ago we were driving to the store when we passed a rather large pile of stuff on the curb. I knew there wasn't anything usually there so I took a second look and it was purple wort/spider wort/purple heart/purple queen whatever you want to call it, the list goes on... Anyways Micah went up to the door to ask and double check they were throwing it out and the girl said take it all!!

This stuff spreads something serious and I love the color of it too! All in all a pretty low maintenance plant.. even better ;) This pile is a little faded but, now it's in the ground (in our backyard) and currently getting some rainwater. We have quite a bit in our flower beds out back so this was a nice addition. I would say it's much happier now than when it was about to be trashed on the curb!
