Now that my internet is acting normal.....

I was having some issues earlier while trying to publish what was going to be a quikie post. It ended up being quite the process that I decided I'd do later! So here I am. later....

I wanted to acknowledge an Emmy win the only one I really ended up caring about! All the other wins are from shows I don't watch so I obviously don't give a hoot, but Best Actor in a Drama went to Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad! Which happens to be his second consecutive win.If you are not watching this show you are really missing out. In a nutshell it's about a stressed high school chemistry teacher (Walter White aka Cranston) who has a pregnant wife and son with cerebral palsy. He (Walter) is then diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and begins selling and producing methamphetamines with a former student, in an effort to financially secure his family's future. It's not for everyone, it has a very heavy story and crazy stuff surrounding it but the acting and writing is pretty superb! I don't mean to sound like a goober critic but.. there isn't another way to describe it :)

One other win... it wasn't an actual MAIN award but it was an award nonetheless! Viewers could vote on this one, it was Breakthrough Performance of the Year and it went to True Blood! The moment when Bill met Sookie for the first time.... ahh, swoon.

I also found out while googling, that True Blood did actually win some Emmy's, maybe the ones not televised?? One was for outstanding casting for a drama series, outstanding art direction for a single camera series and also outstanding main title design. So at least they got some recognition!
