Oh geez....

This may come as a shock but this is another post about a tv show. I was just eating lunch and saw a commercial for a new show starting on Style in October, the name of the show is Dallas Divas & Daughters. The season will consist of just eight episodes but, I'm sure they will be jam packed full of drama, drama, drama!

The reason this post is titled 'oh geez' is because I think this show will totally fill people's heads with the wrong idea of how women from Dallas really are. Let's face it (Texas peeps) when you tell people you live there or are form there they think you ride around town on a horse wearing your cowboy hat or that you should have BIG hair! And so what if mine is sometimes.... it's a

curly thing!! ;) Know what I mean? Might as well get over it, that cowboy stereo type is not going anywhere!

Anywho, the premise of the show is very Housewives of (fill in the blank)-esque (on Bravo). It follows the lives of wealthy mother/daughter duos and their busy schedules of socializing and gossiping! *sidenote* I am kinda surprised there hasn't been a Housewives of Dallas done yet. Lord knows there are plenty of rich, snooty women there to make up that cast!

As far as the show goes, I may tune in because I can't seem to resist a good reality show but I guess I just wanted to step on the soapbox for a sec to tell the folks reading that not everybody from Texas rides a horse or is some hoity-toity snob that thinks she is better than you! We're normal for the most part! ;)

So, after all that if you choose to tune it and watch the rich b's I mean diva's shop and socialize it begins October 4th on the Style network.
