Ok on to the food... by the time we got to the fried butter we were so full from other fried delights plus the line was understandably long! Folks I've talked to who have tried it all say it's like a do-nut. They even had flavors cherry, grape and garlic to name a few.
As far as foods we did try I of course had to get a Fletcher's corny dog with MUSTARD!!! Y'all it's THE best :) The stand in front of Big Tex is the best spot too ;) That's one of the spots Oprah was at on Sunday, to of course get a corny dog and film a segment for her show. More on Op later though.....
Let's see we tried the fried peaches 'n' cream= YUM!!!! Landon had a fried grilled cheese sandwich. He also loved the twisted tator, where they use this drill contraption and spiralize the potato and fry it... of course! We all shared funnel cakes too! Do you have a stomach ache just reading this?! Haha, for some reason when you are at the fair you become this bottomless pit! I think since the fair only comes around once a year (for almost a month) you have to savor EVERY bite!
We hadn't even gotten to Big Tex yet and Landon was in awe of the fair!
