Taken in Dallas, mostly at the zoo.
Obviously this is a raccoon but what I thought was crazy was that he was just hanging in the tree in the middle of the day!! Hello nocturnal animal!! By the way this tree was above my mom's house, the neighborhood is FULL of old, tall trees. At night you can shine a light in the trees and see all the glowing eyes. That's what made this one such a surprise!
This little squirrel was just doing his own little squirrel thing. He had just picked up a nut then he heard something behind him... He turned around, (I snapped the picture and as soon as he turned) and he spotted me and dropped that nut quick and ran! Busted!!!
Help! I'm stuck!!
Ok, this guy had to be my favorite that we saw (@ the zoo). He is a BIG HORN sheep, as if you couldn't tell and I named him Beaux! Yes, after our dog!! Upsize the picture and look at those teeth. If you don't know our dog Beaux he has an extreme underbite, a lot of Boxers do and he is one of those!
