DWTS Co-host news!

As promised as soon as I heard something about who was going to replace Samantha Harrison I would post the details. Online they are saying there are 3 gals who have screen tested to become co-host. Those gals being Melissa Rycroft, Brooke Burke and Vanessa Manillo.I have mixed feelings about all three to be honest.

Melissa is of course 'the girl' that was dumped by Jason the bachelor. Then she went on to compete on Dancing with the Stars and got pretty far. I liked her then but I'm kinda growing old of seeing her bucky beaverness. BUT since she does have prior dancing experience and she can be all bubbly on camera she could potentially be a good fit.

Now Brooke of course won season 7 with her partner Derek Hough. She has had past hosting experience and dancing too but she lacks a little in the personality department (at least in my opinion).

Finally there is Vanessa Minillo. She has never been a contestant on DWTS but has had plenty of hosting experience. Out of the three I think I like the idea of Vanessa best. She's got enough personality but not too much 'ala' Melissa Rycroft.

Even with all the news of the three ladies that are up for the job, last night during The Bachelor,  "The Women Tell All" show there was a commercial that said watch March 1st as the cast is released by Tom Bergeron along with Melissa Rycroft?? So I don't exactly know what that means.. Obviously she will be alongside him that night but is it permanent? Are the three going to be revolving co-hosts? Whatever the case that's the update I can give you folks. Whenever definite word comes out.... I'll post it! Until then it sounds like Melissa is the front runner, maybe March 1st that official announcement will be made too.
