So sad...

I just read the unfortunate news that Cesar Millan's pit bull Daddy has recently died. He was actually a cancer survivor, going through chemo and everything. Daddy was sixteen years old. So even with having had cancer, sixteen years is an incredible life span for a dog. Daddy was a perfect example of what a Pit Bull can be; loving, well-balanced and loyal.

If you watch the Dog Whisperer at all then you will most definitely recognize him. He was literally Cesar's right hand man (in the form of a dog) helping to rehabilitate all the troubled dogs. Recently on the show you may have even seen the new pit bull (Daddy's protégé) that has been 'training' under Daddy, his name is Junior.

That's so sad. Did you know that Daddy's actually belongs to the rapper Redman? (I think that is his name) and he stays with Cesar when Redman is traveling? He and Yogi are the only two pit bulls that have ever made me think they aren't such a bad breed after all! Can't wait to see some episodes with Junior!

Yeah I knew he was Redman's dog but I was just reading that apparently Redman didn't have any plans to come back to LA and it may have been a difficult transition (b/c of his age), so he officially gave custody to the Millan family!!

Aww...I didn't know that the dog officially became Cesar's! That's awesome! Apparently he also "dog sits" for Will and Jada Smith! Wouldn't that be awesome to kennel your dogs with Cesar!?
