I'm sure you all have heard about Jeff Conway recently, whether you watched Celebrity Rehab or not. He was probably the worst addict on that show and he still left early because of a surgery (even though Dr. Drew would have liked for him to stay, he needed this surgery). Like, I said he was the worst in there, he had a terrible drug problem which I believe were mainly Px drugs. He has a bad back (and is wheel chair bound) which means he has to take pain pills to subside his pain, that in the meantime got him hooked onto these pills. It's a really sad and vicious cycle that he (and many other people) have to go through.
Anyways, so he had to leave rehab while still working with Dr. Drew afterwards to try and "cure" his addictions. He's an older guy, set in his ways so it kinda looked bleak as far as getting him fully healed. Good news for him though, is that he has found something that has worked and now seems to be on the road to recovery. That's great news for him but, the thing that eventually pulled him through was Scientology. Weird I know. We all remember when Brooke Shields admitted she suffered from post-partum and Tom Cruise told her she could "fix it" with exercise and vitamins. I'm not sure what Scientology suggests for drug addicts but Jeff Conway has said it has worked for him.
Taxi star Jeff Conaway, says he has finally kicked his drug habit by practicing Scientology. According to Conaway, “I’ve been doing Scientology…my doctor was like, Holy cow, he says whatever you’ve been doing keep doing it because it’s really working.”
I'm not knocking it especially since it has supposedly cured him but, does anyone else think Scientology is strange? You hear all the time about people "finding faith" to get them through tough times, which is great. I'm totally for that, because God made you he can break you (so to speak) but Scientology, really? I'm not even sure how their religion thinks we were brought here(Earth) and can it technically be called a religion anyways? They don't have a god they pray to, a regular man created it and I think they say aliens will come to us in the end or something. Aliens? What is this ET? Xenu is not going to save you when the time comes. When you are on your death bed talking about aliens people will think you are as crazy as Shirley MacLaine and all the UFO's she sees.
I guess these people will keep on living the Scientology life but, I just feel bad for them for when their "time" comes...... John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Tom Cruise... Xenu is going to leave you high and dry when it's time to fly away in his space ship. I feel bad for y'all..... Damn, I was just thinking about when I'm in heaven 95 years from now and how I'll never get to meet John Travolta! haha!! We can all speculate where people go afterwards but, Scientology and heaven don't sound like they mix. Those folks will be in the Land of Xenu probably!!
Ok, sorry if that was too religion heavy for you but, I was just thinking how silly it is that Scientology can supposedly cure all these ailments and addictions. Up next on their schedule, the cure for cancer. Thank you Robert Hubbard followers.... NOT!!!!!!
