Worth mentioning. (updated)

Do you watch Glenn Beck? We do and if you do then you have heard him talk about his We Surround Them special. If you don't watch him then either you don't agree with his views (which is totally understandable b/c he is very passionate about his views) or for some other reason.

He is going to have a live audience and there are 'viewing parties' all over the U.S. He has been hyping this thing up for weeks now! So the main focus of the show are the 9 principles (and 12 values) and if you agree with seven of them then you are not alone.

I'm not trying to get all weird and put any political views out there. It's just that these 9 principles are very important and should be recognized by more Americans. Glenn Beck is not a Republican either (like many people assume) he's a Libertarian to be exact. In case that matters to anyone! Again, there is no political agenda here (on my blog or his show today). But just a chance for people to take back and stand up for what is theirs!

Here are the 9 principles and 12 values.....

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
