Lights! Camera! Dancing!!!

Well it's Tuesday morning and could you believe I didn't even watch DWTS last night? I'm catching up this morning... as in watching & blogging!! The theme for this week's show is Movie Night! Meaning songs from movies and thier dances are inspired by the movie/song.

Up first is Niecy & Louis- They have La Bamba and are dancing the jive. Poor Niecy... she is having tons of fun and really putting her all into it but this dance is too fast for her! I would say the performance side was great  considering her sass and personality but the technique was lacking :(                             6-6-6=18

Ochocinco & Cheryl- These two are doing a quickstep to the Jungle Book. The judges were saying his frame and footwork were pretty messy but I didn't really even notice any major flubs... And the saga continues as to whether or not they are a couple!!                                                                 6-6-6=18

Erin & Maks are taking on the jive set to Pulp Fiction. I've never seen this movie... I know about the whole dance scene with Uma and John Travolta though. Without actually seeing the real movie their little reenactment was really good. It was probably her best dance to date.                                   7-7-8=22

Jake & Chelsie are doing the the cha cha cha to Risky Business. Um... and if you didn't see it he did start the dance in a white shirt and tightie whities!! Holy crap that was just awkward tv!! I mean, he looked good but it was weird!! It was a good cha cha but he did mess up a bit at one point. I think the judges should give him some decent scores though.... he should get brownies points for being in his undies!!             8-7-8=23

If you weren't keeping count, Jake & Chelsie have the highest score of the night so far............

Pamela & Damian are doing a quickstep to 9 to 5. Way to go out on a limb having Pamela do Dolly!! ;) Who doesn't love Dolly though?!  Maybe it's just me but I thought it was pretty slow for a quick step. She is really improving and doing surprisingly well.                                                                                7-6-8=21

Kate & Tony are doing the foxtrot with music from The Breakfast Club. Great movie, right?! Ugh the rehearsal footage only reminds us of what a whoopin' Kate really is. All he asks of her is for more energy but she has ZERO!! Her performance is so dead. She does always remember to plaster on that phony smile though ;)                                                                                                                                 5-5-5=15

Nicole and Derek are doing a tango to Pretty Woman. I'm actually pretty surprised that she came out in the red gown as opposed to the hooker boots and mini dress! Haha!!! Is that wrong?? I'm still (and probably will never) be on board with her but, that dance was really good :)                                               10-9-10=29

Evan and Anna did a rumba with Armageddon as their movie. It was exactly what I think a Rumba should look like... for whatever that's worth.  It was an excellent dance. Nicole and Evan are the ones always at the top of the leader board so we'll see where the judges put them with their scores.....                9-9-9=27

They are behind Nicole & Derek just by hair! I just like Evan so much more but his hair is starting to bother me a little!! lol

As far as who should go home.... the obvious answer is Kate but that more then likely won't happen. She did pull the 'kid card' tonight by saying they live for watchinng mommy dance every Monday! Gag!!!! Jake and Pamela are the only ones (out of the remaining cast) who have already been in the 'bottom two territory'. So maybe it could come down to them in the bottom? Or possibly Niecy due to her scores... We shall see tonight!
