Ok, I'm sorry y'all have to excuse my excitement but, I have just done something that I am pretty proud of. I've always thought it couldn't be too hard or that I could at least try to make my own blog background. Those of you that blog know that it's hard to come by cute backgrounds (except for thecutestblogontheblock.com, they have cute & free ones) so I decided to read up about it and all that goes into it.
It just so happens that the site I mentioned above has a great tutorial on how to do it. I tried it and although it is my first try it's not great but, it's not terrible! I'm sure it's gonna take me quite a while to get anywhere near as good as those ladies that make "custom backgrounds w/headers" (that they sell because of all the hard work) but, I think it will be fun to have/make a personalized background for the blogs.
So if you see my blog or Landon's blog changing just know that I am working on my new craft ;) Practice makes perfect.... Maybe if my future creations aren't too hideous I can make some for **y'all whenever you can't find that "perfect" background for your blog.

Good job! That's exciting! I have thought about trying to make backgrounds...but I don't think I have the patience. I know it's difficult to do--keep it up!!
It looks great. The one I attempted a while ago sucked in comparison. Keep up the good work!!
