First was today's WOD (Crossfit's work-out of the day). Today happened to be a Hero WOD (DT), which are named after the hero's that sadly were killed during combat. So like I said today was DT in honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, who was only 28 and killed on February 20, 2009. Timothy is survived by his wife, Megan and their one year old son TJ. So sad.
Then the other thing was a song! I'm not lying, I had Oprah on (after I busted my butt on the above WOD) and she had all sorts of coutry stars on. Which means she was trying to talk in her best country accent! Anywho- Carrie Underwood was on and she sang her lastest song, Just a Dream. Y'all know (most of you) that I am not a huge "new" country fan but, Carrie is always good. The American Idol thing doens't hurt either ;) So she sang the song with the video playing in the background and it was SO sad. Why not change the channel you ask? Well, it was just one of those good, story-telling songs that I wanted to hear the rest of.
The premise of the video is a young girl getting married to a military man who deploys shortly after {they get married}. I'm sure you can figure out the sad part of it all. I'll post the video below, watch it. Carrie really does have an awesome voice and her "husband" in the video is c-u-t-e.
Oh and p.s. I am NOT pregnant! You know how you can just tear up over things sometimes?! Hope that explains it.

I always try to do the hero workouts no matter how hard they are. I just skipped Murph a few weeks ago though. I've done that 4 times in a year and I figure that's ENOUGH.
And I dislike listening to that song. Not that it's bad, i just don't want to cry
