We all knew this day would eventually come and it has happened a lot sooner than I thought. That's right folks, Nip/Tuck has been canceled :( For those of you that watch/enjoy the show will (I'm sure) also be bummed.I read about it online today. It basically said that Ryan Murphy (the creator of the show) had gone to work on his new show Glee and a lot of the crew followed him. Which I thought he was just going to work on both shows?? Apparently NOT.
Anyways, I guess the "big guys @ FX" decided it was over. The final episode (which happens to be episode 100) has already been shot but, here's the kicker.... it's not going to air until 2011!!! Hello, what up with that?!?! So I'm not sure how many episodes we'll actually get for the final season but I'm guessing it's not much. Considering last season was like a lame 8 shows or so. Also, Ryan Murphy was not even there for the final taping.
Final question, for those who watch. (Which I'm assuming is only Nate and Gina, even though y'all missed last season) Do you think the show has jumped the shark? (N & G, I'll keep it cryptic) Like with the way the story line went last season, ie. blank being diagnosed with breast cancer and blank & blank getting married!! I have to say it was getting pretty far fetched. They seemed to really be reaching for some material.
So maybe it's best for the show to end, although we have to wait till 2011! On that note it's kind of a stinker that My Name Is Earl had to be axed too but, really how much longer was he going to be able to do his "list"? It just sucks for them that they didn't even get to do a real final episode. It just ended with the season finale.

I haven't watched much of last season but I do know what you're talking about, and I would have to say that it does seem like they're stretching a bit for story lines.
