I like Cookie but we can't do that because that is the dogs word for treat. So when I 'practiced' calling her that they all tilted their heads at me like, really? we're gettin' a cookie?! So unfortunately, NO.
And being that she is a Louisiana kitty we tried to think of names that relate to that. One being Dixie- from the "ten" (in Cajun French "dix") dollar note circulated from Louisiana, Charlie because we got her in Lake Charles :) And if you are a fan of True Blood then you'll know Sookie! For those of you that have not seen it the show is set in LA. FYI-She is our only LA pet, although Beaux has the spelling of an LA dog he came from the streets of Big D!!
Then while Landon and I were watching a cartoon this morning another name came to me, Birdie. There was this tiny bird on Dora and I said aww, look at the little birdie and it hit me that it was kinda a cute name! I know I'm weird and the name is too but isn't it cute?! I have to get a picture with her and Rusty together so you can see how tiny she really is. Right when we thought he looked small (in comparison to the dogs anything does) she came around! She is just a little nugget of a kitten :)
