Golden Globe Predictions.

The Golden Globes are on tonight on NBC and although I won't be watching it live partly because Micah would consider that torture (especially if I watched the red carpet) and also because I must have the ability to fast forward during stuff like that! I just wanted to share a few predictions or actually we'll call it who I would like to see win :)

As far as the movies nominated I'm pretty much out of the loop, only a couple of the noms have been released on dvd. So for those I can guess as to who will more than likely win. I'm just gonna list the possible winners, I don't really feel like naming every movie and/or person.

Best Actress in a Drama- Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side)

Best Actor in a Drama- I'll say Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart) cause he just won some critic's award.

Best Motion Picture (Drama)- I've only seen Inglorious Basterds, don't know that it will win though ;) Not that it wasn't entertaining but they all seem a bit hoity toity to actually give them the award.

Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical)- Again, the only one I have seen is The Hangover. As funny as it is I didn't really think it was an award type of movie!!

I think it would be great if Sandra Bullock also won for best actress in a comedy (The Proposal). That was pretty cute.

Ok skip all the other categories.... On to a couple tv nominations.

Best Drama- True Blood but I bet Mad Men will win, boooo!!!

Actress in a Drama- Anna Paquin (True Blood)

Dude in a Drama, don't care.

Best Comedy or Musical (television)- I'm torn between Modern Family and Glee. I'll be happy if either one of them wins :)

Best Actor & Actress in a Comedy or Musical- Lea Michele (Glee) and Matthew Morrison (Glee), duh...

Last but not least Jane Lynch (she's freakin' great) for best supporting actress in a series, blah, blah, blah...

Alright that's who I would like to see walk away with the win, I do have to say I am a bit disappointed to not see Breaking Bad nominated at all. Major Snub for that series! That show should be recognized for at least one category, the writing is insanely deep & dark and the acting is top notch. Bummer for them :( So what are your thoughts on the nominees, is there anybody that you would like to see win? Share your thoughts now or later when I post the actual winners...

Also you know I can't resist discussing the fashions. So keep your eyes peeled for crazy looking get-ups! The cherry on top?? Joan Rivers is returning to E! but not for the red carpet!! She will be hosting the Fashion Police special they always have the day after the awards show. I'm a little excited about that one. She may not exactly 'know' fashion but her critiques are ruthless and hilarious! Let's face it, I don't know fashion either but we all know what looks crazy or not, right?!
